    INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TIRUPATI INVITE APPLICATION FROM ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES




    IIT Tirupati an Institute of national importance declared as such under the Institute of Technology Act, 1961, invites applications from the candidates with an established record of independent high quality research and commitment to teaching for faculty positions at the levels of:

    PROFESSOR
    Basic Pay: Rs. 159100/- 

    ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
    Basic Pay: Rs.139600/-  
          
    ASSISTANT PROFESSOR GRADE – I
    Basic Pay: Rs.101500/- 

    The positions are in the following: 
    Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering.

    Qualifications:
    Ph.D., with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with consistently very good academic record throughout. 

    EXPERIENCE
    Eligibility & experience will be reckoned as on last date for receipt of applications. 
    PROFESSOR:  At least 10 years 
    ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: At least 6 years 
    ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (GRADE – I & GRADE – II)  At least 3 years 

    AGE 
    Candidates for Assistant Professor should be preferably below 38 years of age and for Associate Professors should be preferably below 45 years. The age will be reckoned as on the closing date of the online application.
